Help me decide. Kawai ES120 vs Kawai KDP120 vs Roland FP-30x
So I’m a beginner, and i want to buy my first digital piano. I’m usually the type of guy that likes to spend once rather than buying something cheap in the beginning and upgrading in the long run. Where i’m from, the prices of these pianos are pretty similar. That comes from the fact that for any of them that i would go with, I want to get the dedicated stand and dedicated pedals. I’m not planning on moving it around, i want a piano for home use. I don’t want to spend extra on high quality speakers or amplifiers, so the quality of the default speaker sound is the most important to me. I don’t plan on recording or producing since it is just a hobby and i want to be able to just turn it on and sing to my friends and family. I’ve watched many reviews and comparasion videos online and read many different opinions. But i couldn’t find anything comparing the ES120 to the KDP120. Anybody that got to play on both or maybe all 3 and can help me decide? I’d say i’ll play mostly with the original acoustic piano preset, and i want it to sound as close to an acoustic piano as possible. I know the action on all 3 of those is great, with the Roland being on the heavier side. I heard the Kawai ES120 has better sounding speakers than the Roland and is more true to the acoustic piano sounds. I didn’t get to try any of them yet, but i’m planning to before buying. In my opinion the KDP120 is the most aesthetic. Here are the prices for them where I live: KDP120 - 879 euro ES120 - 785 euro (including the dedicated stand and pedals) FP-30X - 857 euro (including the dedicated stand and pedals)
