Robots not humans?

Pay and Conditions

Hi All, I am a registrar working in NHS for past few years. I want to get your opinions. I have been unwell for past one week due to severe flu followed by post viral LRTI. No one checked on me how am I or how is my family. I got few emails which were all email ur sickness there email ur sickness here and fill form etc. is this how we are down to as humans?

I am originally from Pakistan and if you are sick I had colleagues who would regularly check in, bring food and at-least show some empathy as we are humans but since I have joined NHS i have felt colleagues here to be not as kind / caring as I had in Pakistan. A single text of kindness when someone is sick means alot or atleast shows that the other person cares.

I think we are all algorithmic here in NHS like robots. I saw another post where a cons asked a CT1 to respond to F1 questions from home while being sick. Absolute no regard for someones well being. Selfish people.
