Canceled my dark cosmos base XLE for a premium + for almost the same price!

I'm pretty happy with this, I know its probably not the BEST price I could get but a couple thousand isn't going to change much.

I had a base XLE reserved thst was listed at 37.5k with a dealership.

I was wanting a premium originally but the ones allocated were already reserved so I decided to look at other dealerships to get an idea of what price I wanted to shoot for out the door. Saw a dealership had a xle with only three premium + package listed for 40.8k.

Contacted them, told them the truth that I had a base xle already reserved but what they could do for me to move my business with them.

Sales Manager was friendly and conversational told me he could cut off a bit from the package but not more. Sent me a written quote for 38.8k before taxes and fees 43k OTD. 8.25% state tax with 799 doc fee 30 title fee. No BS dealer add ons on any of their vehicles.

I compared this to the other dealership I was originally shopping at and their price was listed at 42.7k with dealer add ons I read they won't remove.

I've read how some of you gave gotten insane deals but overall I'm pretty happy with what they offered me and am excited the car arrives 3 weeks sooner than I would have had to done!
