Question about KPMG offer

Hey guys, just a quick question for those working in KPMG..

I got shortlisted for an IT Audit role at KPMG Malaysia. They gave me the job details, salary, and a start date of 15 Dec, but I asked HR if I could postpone it to 1 Jan instead, and they agreed. 😅

I haven’t signed the offer letter yet and I’m kinda anxious — is it normal for companies like KPMG to pull the offer at this stage, even after verbal confirmation and amending the start date?
