Christmas - grief hit me out of the blue

I was thinking about Christmas. My mom who passed away in August was a big knitter, and I planned on sending out her last knitting items to family for Christmas gifts. Suddenly, I was overwhelmed with tears.

Gosh, my sympathies to everyone going through first Christmas without a loved one.
