Rams vs Lions parking guide at SoFi Stadium (Dec 14)
hey everyone, figured i'd share some parking tips for the rams/lions game since it can be a total mess at sofi. hope this helps you avoid some of the insane traffic and prices.
first off, the best thing i've found is an app called Prked. you can rent someones private driveway or garage right next to SoFi Stadium. honestly it's been a game changer. it's way cheaper than the official lots and you park in a neighborhood so you can just walk over. you completely skip the crazy traffic getting into and out of the stadium lots which can take forever after the game.
if you dont do that, whatever you do, dont just drive to the stadium expecting to buy parking. you have to buy an on-site pass in advance and they're usually sold out or crazy expensive on resale sites. if you do get an official pass, just be prepared for a long wait to get out after the game, redditors have said it can be a nightmare. also tailgating is only allowed in the Pink Zone and you need a special pass for that.
a better option is the Inglewood Park & Go program. it's run by the city and they have a bunch of remote lots with shuttles to the stadium. you can park at places like the Inglewood Public Library or Civic Center Garage and ride a bus. you have to buy a parking pass for your car AND a separate shuttle pass for each person in your group. book it online beforehand cause it's cheaper. the shuttles run every 15 mins or so.
there's also a bunch of other lots nearby like the forum or local businesses and schools that sell spots. you can find these on apps like parkwhiz. these are good because they're usually a shorter walk and you can get out of the area faster than the main lots. some people have had good luck parking at places like Morningside High School.
public transportation is another solid move. you can take the metro k line and get off at the downtown inglewood station, its about a 20-25 minute walk from there. or you can take the train to the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station where they have a free shuttle that takes you to the stadium.
final warning: DO NOT try to park on the street in the neighborhoods around the stadium. inglewood has a strict permit-only parking program on game days and they will ticket and tow you. it's not worth the risk at all.
anyway, it's gonna be an awesome game. hope this helps you get there a little easier. go rams
