I think it’s time for me to leave this subreddit. This is legitimately crazy to hear come out of someone’s mouth. Cory owes you nothing. He does something that he enjoys for himself — since when is it the other way around?

This is why Cory is losing the passion for creating content. You can clearly tell, because he knows he’s not making content for his own joy anymore; he’s making content for the joy of others. For example, in his latest video he says he’s been ‘chipping away’ at it. Usually that means that when he sits down to edit, he’s being put off because he’s not enjoying making videos anymore.

And he knows that the day he sits down and says this, the entire internet is going to go up in flames. His community is not supportive, but rather the total opposite You force him to do something that he clearly is not enjoying and you pressure him to live up to expectations. And for that, I’m out.

This is clearly not a healthy community. You do not support your creator — instead, you pressure him to keep up with you’restandards because you have nothing better to do. Go touch grass. Stop saying, ‘We just want to be informed,’ or ‘We deserve this,’ or ‘We want answers.’ He owes you nothing You don’t know him.
