Free Parking for Buccaneers vs. Falcons at Raymond James Stadium (Tampa 12/11)

hey everyone, figured i'd drop some parking tips for the falcons game on thursday night since it's gonna be a madhouse.

if you're trying to save cash, honestly your best bet for free parking is to try the neighborhoods east of the stadium off himes, south of MLK. people who live there are cool with it but get there super early cause those spots go fast. it's a bit of a walk but you can't beat free. just be respectful of people's lawns and driveways.

if you dont want to risk it, i'd check out prked. its an app where people rent out their driveways and garages right next to raymond james stadium. it's way cheaper than the official lots and you park in a residential spot so getting out after the game is a million times easier. you can skip the main traffic chaos on dale mabry.

the official stadium lots are fine but expensive, probably like $40 or more on game day and they are credit card only. lots open around 4:45 for the 8:15 kick off so get there early if you want to tailgate. i'd suggest buying a pass online beforehand to save a few bucks. traffic on dale mabry, himes, and MLK gets seriously nuts a couple hours before the game. also they close down tom mcewen blvd between dale mabry and himes, so dont even try that route.

a lot of people try to use rideshare but the pickup zone is over at steinbrenner field and it can be a real nightmare trying to find your driver with thousands of other people doing the same thing.

whatever you do, get there early and have a plan. leaving the stadium is the worst part, everyone leaves at once so just be prepared to wait or find an alternate route through the neighborhoods.
