Did things get better for you after university?
Hey everyone, I wouldn't normally post this but after recently finishing uni and trying to transition into work life I think I have been struggling mentally. For a bit of background, I studied psych and got a good honours grade. I've applied for a lot of psych grad-related jobs but never get the things I actually think would be good for my career. It just makes me question who I am and what my skills really are.
I feel like I am quickly drifting away from people (despite arranging times to catch up). I had a bad day today and it sucked knowing I didn't have anyone I could truly and honestly debrief with. I hate being the friend that constantly struggles. I guess being at this point of my life just makes me wonder what the point of me being here is and that maybe there simply isn't much of a point. I know services like Lifeline exist and that I should probably reach out to them but calling them about this just feels stupid.
Plus, I studied psych. I should be able to sort this out myself right? I guess in a summary: I just feel like I am a tiny grain of sand amongst a massive beach, and lately these thoughts keep coming into my mind.
