Hello fellow banarasia folks, I have a question don’t ya’ll find the R/Varanasi sub a little bit off. It feels like it is taken over by outsiders and feminists modernist types. I made a post there that Varanasi will always remain an Orthodox Hindu bastion and that all these modern ideologies will never prevail there and my post was instantly deleted.

Btw yes my flair is Jaunpur because my native village is in Jaunpur but my grandparents and a significant portion of family have been living in Varanasi city proper for generations.

I also made a post about how many communities like Marathis, Kannada and Tamil abuse people from Hindi belt and even abuse the concept of Sanatan and that Varanasi should not bow down to these people just in the name of hindu or national unity. Even worse we all know tamil sangam thing is happening just for political gain purposes. Post got removed again lmao.

Anyways wanted to know what do actual kashi natives think of all this? I mean the real Purvanchali natives btw not the Marathi or other parasites in Kashi who abuse North Indians and become “devout hindus” here.

Now request to mods. Okay fine this sub has inactive user so go create your own new sub for Purvachali people but why deface this sub. Let the status and photo of the sub remain. We have people here already. They will slowly move. Kind request to return the picture and status of this sub. You can inform of new sub without defacing this sub.

Had to add link for the sake of it btw because for some reason cannot post without attachment that is why google link is there.

Rant over. Thank you Purvanchali bros.

Anyone from Varanasi here? Also request for mods
