Rebirth for non-Americans

Did anyone else get "Dinosaurs no longer live across the world" translated automatically to "there aren't many dinosaurs left in America"? The way that Americans conflate 'World' with their perview seems to be a regular occurrence. My brain just automatically went "yeah they probably just died up north in America, this sounds exactly like how they'd say it".

Americans, this isn't a dig, just an observation.
