Free Parking for Jaguars v Jets at EverBank Stadium (Jacksonville 12/14)

figured i'd share some parking advice for the jets game this sunday. it's gonna be packed and the traffic situation is no joke lately with all the construction.

if you're trying to save money, there is some free parking located at 1406 Gator Bowl Blvd. honestly, it's very limited and fills up super fast so you have to get there crazy early to even have a chance.

i've been using this app called Prked lately. people who live around everbank stadium rent out their driveways and garages for game day. its way cheaper than the official lots, you can book a spot right next to the stadium and just walk over, skipping most of the pre-game traffic chaos. definitely worth checking out if you want a guaranteed spot without the hassle.

the main stadium lots are all sold out to season ticket holders, so you won't find a spot there unless you know someone. there are a bunch of other cash lots scattered around within walking distance, but a lot of them are cash-only so make sure you have some on you. prices can be anywhere from $20 to $50.

the biggest piece of advice is to get there EARLY. i'm talking at least 3 hours before kickoff. the construction for the new stadium has made traffic a nightmare, especially when you're trying to leave the game. seriously, getting out after the game can take forever, so either be prepared to wait in your car or just hang out for a bit after the game to let the traffic die down.

if you do park in one of the further lots like S, X, Z, or Met Park, there's a free shuttle that runs before and after the game which can save you some walking. and remember they have that clear bag policy, so don't get caught having to walk all the way back to your car.
