LN 8: Discrepancy between the WN and LN

When I read LN 8, I did not remember any scene where Jinshi has an arrow shot at him (I did remember the scene where Jinshi checks that his tea has been poisoned).

But when I was reading the WN (I translated the Japanese to English with Google Translate), I did read a passage where Jinshi sucks the poison from an arrow laced with aconite from a man who takes the shot for him. And then Maomao freaks out and inspects his mouth for any wounds or cavities. Anyone else notice this discrepancy?
