Should I complain?
I’ve worked for a company for little over a year, I’m currently working my notice period but over the last year I’ve experienced bullying, inappropriate comments and a lot of poor behaviour form mainly management but trickled down to colleagues. It’s came to light that my manager has been telling colleagues personal information about me, this info is a protected characteristic under the equality act and breaks GDPR. I know where I stand legally but morally I’m struggling with whether to complain to HR or not. My concerns are 1. It could be very bad for the manager long term though she should know better being in management for a while. 2. Do I have the capacity to continue this if it goes beyond a formal complaint?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
