Aftercare for a digital perm

Hi all,

Just got a digital perm wave, and was wondering what I should and should not do, particularly within the first 48-72 hours and onwards. My goal is just to keep my hair as healthy in the long-run, and secondary priority is to keep the curls for as long as possible. My plan is just to condition everyday but shampoo only every 3 days, and to apply essential oil every 2 days before showering. If theres anything extra I should do, please do let me know.

Also, people tell me not to wet my hair within the first 2-3 days, but I accidentally wet it a bit during my shower (tried my best not getting the water in my hair but practically impossible), I didn't use any products on my hair. Do you think it will have any effect on my curls? And is excessively touching it/flicking it with my fingers bad within the first few days?
