AITA for getting upset that my bf (21) doesn't want to listen to what I believe in?

We were talking about different religions and it came up that I believed in Buddhism. We talked about it and he tried to explain it in his own words. I tried to correct him about some things, one being that technically it is not a religion and more of a practice/study, and two that there are no "gods" like from western religions. He was positive that I was wrong, and when he was done talking, he left for a minute. When he came back, I asked if we could finish the conversation bc I wanted to explain what I had heard and been taught, and see if maybe he had it mixed up with something else, or just for the sake of telling him what I believed in personally. But he said that he was tired and didn't really care to talk about it.

I feel upset that he talked all about what he wanted but didn't give me a chance to explain what I knew about it. It's something I'd want him know about me and being dismissed like that makes me think he doesn't care to know what I believe in. Is it wrong to feel that way? Am I trying to pressure someone into listening to something they don't have to if they don't want?
