Are some series rarer than others ?

Not talking about the figurines themselves, are they series you’re pretty sure to see in any shop and others that might be harder to find ?

I dont know anything about smiskis but wanna make a christmas present to someone who collects them. The shop I found has got boxes of the series 1, cheer, bath and yoga series. Should I prioritize one ?
