Weight gain and leptins markers on this drug

I was on Wellbutrin for about 6 weeks , 2 weeks on 150mg then the rest of time on 300mg, I felt amazing happy chatty bubbly and had more energy to exercise. Despite going to gym and moving more I put on 5kg in that short amount of time and now been off it for 7 weeks and can't lose any weight

I was researching leptin markers this is the chemical that makes you feel full and apparently anti psychotic drugs raise lepin levels which then make it hard to stop eating and feeling full as well as very hard to lose weight ,

I had a blood test and my leptin is through the roof been raised very high since this drug

Has anyone else experienced quick weight gain from this drug ?

I am now back to being unmotivated ADHD and struggling not sure what to try next , feeling so lost with side effects from both strattera and now Wellbutrin. I honestly thought I had found my perfect medication and then got stuck with being overweight now
