My 3mo old will suddenly not sleep more than 30 mins. He slept a total of 7 hours in the last 24h between 5 naps and 3 false starts.

He previously would go down pretty reliably at 1am-3am after 3-4h of soothing, regardless of how much or how little we let him nap during the day. Some naps were 30mins, others 2 hours. Longer wake windows, shorter wake windows, nap capping, not nap capping, nothing changed that despite 9pm wind downs, he wouldn’t really sleep before 1, sometimes as late as 3. Which was tolerable. I’d nurse to sleep at the end of a wake windows if he wasn’t sleepy.

Today he decided naps were 5-30 mins max despite trying to keep 90 min wake windows. It’s almost 2am and we’ve had 3 false starts tonight that were no more than 5 mins each. He just cries and cries or fusses. We’ve tried walking (8/5 method and longer stretches), rocking, holding, bed sharing, feeding to sleep (which got us 3 false starts) and he will not go down or if he does, immediately wakes back up, even from a dead sleep.

The room is blacked out the best we can, we have white noise playing, the temperature is set to 71, he’s in appropriate clothing, he’s clean, dry, and fed. Spits out a paci as he’s EBF. we’ve tried both arms swaddled and not swaddled or just one in and one out because he’s not rolling yet. We always do gum brush, face clean, sleep sack and story time of one book, the same book, in a rocking chair with daddy for bedtime routines, and a bath before all of those on bath nights.

Seriously can anyone recommend anything. I’ve just started tracking on huckleberry. He will not go down and will not stay down. We’re running on dangerously low amounts of sleep and there’s no end in sight. Is there no nope of ST before 4mo? Is this just terrible regression and we have no choice but to ride it out? I’m worried one of us will crash our cars at this rate.
