Novels that feel like "Merry Christmas please dont call"?

The song is obviously everywhere, and whatever feeling it has, its addictive. It makes me feel like my heart is going to burst. It feels melancholic, but not in an obvious way. It feels more like a sigh than a sob. Im looking for books like that. Thank you!
