baby still refuses solids

What do you do if baby refuses solids? Do you offer milk afterwards or wait and try solids again? My baby is not very much into eating food and still prefers breastmilk. He turned one a week ago and I hoped that by now he’d start eating more. Also how many milk feeds does your baby have in a day if breastfeeding?
