When people ask the same question over and over again
I swear to god my sister asks me a dozen times a year why our countertop blender can't be used for every damn kitchen related step to exist. Every time I explain that our blender doesn't work for everything, it's like it goes over her head. No it won't turn my 3 tbsp of herbs into a paste as it'll sink into the bottom crevasses unlike pestle and mortars, no it doesn't dice onions like a food processor does, no it wont turn dad's coffee beans into finely and consistently ground store-like coffee because it's not a coffee grinder, and no you shouldn't blend piping hot soup with the room temp glass blender like you can with immersion blenders. If I hear "What about the blender?" one more time I will lose it, especially since we've been using it for the past 10 years.
