am i the only one who thinks the last 2 dlc feels too gimmicky

Biotech, royalty and ideology all change the whole playthrough and offer many more ways of playing the game but i feel like anomaly and odyssey are played like gimmicks. this applys much more too anomaly than too odyssey but the general feeling is that you either do any other run or an anomaly/odyssey run unlike the other dlc's who can be implemented into any kind of game. Granted i like them both i just hope the next dlc will feel less like a gimmick and more like a true upgrade (sorry for bad english)
