Why do folks who can't parent their kids try to get us to become parents

So I'm 22F and always been CF. I'm also an only child. My neighbors are extremely patriarchal and have constantly passed remarks on how my parents just have 1 daughter n how they should have a son. They have 3 kids, 2sons(married and with kids) and a daughter whose engaged, their daughter is 23 and was in my school. When we had sex Ed in school I was randomly asked how many kids I want and when and I said I'm CF. Their kid heard n anyway their parents ended up complaining to my mum(not that she cared) but they've always been in my business since.

Today is the grandsons birthday. They've thrown a party, tons of kids have come over. Today coincidentally there's work to be done in our house and I'm the only one home so my parents have told me to keep the door open, just incase. Now I've been sitting in the living room (where there's work going on) since morning and around half an hour ago I went inside to feed my pets.

Tell me why I came back to two kids literally hiding in my house!!!! Apprently they were playing hide and seek and one kid is hiding under my dining table and the other behind a door. They've also removed stuff from the showcase. GLASS STUFF. Now here's the annoying part, I look into my neighbors house and I see two dad's at the door standing and gossiping, so I tell them their kids are here. TELL ME WHY THEY SAID "PATA HAI" (WE KNOW) like hoe do something thennnnn.

I ask my neighbors to keep the kids away with the excuse that they may get hurt because of all the tools lying around but apparently they are smart enough to avoid that so they can play there wtf?!?!! So then I told them that we're not really comfortable with them here and they kept saying shit like "they are just kids" "all kids play like this" etc etc like no I didn't!! Is it no longer rude to stare into someone's house, let alone walk in and remove stuff from their showcase?!?!?

Then I complained to my mum lmao. She called them up and told them to yank their kids back inside. Apparently my neighbor uncle kept saying I have an issue with it bcoz I don't want kids and my mums making me to modern. Whatever.
