A season 2 defense which I find silly

People who say you should like season 2 because it introduces stuff that are important later on is really silly.

For example I didn't like Max in season 2 but I love her in season 4 but just because I liked her in season 4, that doesn't mean I am going to like season 2 more just because she was introduced in that season. Same goes for other characters or relationships that were introduced in season 2.

I watched a video recently where the person talked about how good season 2 is because it introduced a lot of stuff that are good in future seasons but that doesn't matter. In season 2, if the stuff or people introduced aren't good in season 2, that doesn't mean its gonna be good in season 2 just because its good in a future season. That whole thing is just really silly.
