I just realized why people were so good at tackling

I was used to using standing tackles when I was next to a player and always wondered why some opponents were always getting the ball, even from behind. I also conceded plenty of rebound goals, my players were clearing the ball instead of keeping it.

Turns out that in this game, you should almost never use the tackle button. Now I just jockey, let my defenders make an automatic tackle, and keep it.

Same for blocks, I always thought I could manually block shots, but it's better just to stand there doing nothing.
