Anyone else dealing with unsupportive family during egg freezing?

I’m in the middle of egg freezing and the emotional side is turning out to be harder than I expected. I’d say part of this is because my mum is really unsupportive. I’m being met with I should “just find a boyfriend” and “try naturally”, and doesn’t understand why I’m choosing to do this now at 32.

I’m a poor responder, so I need 4-5 cycles for it to be worthwhile. That alone is stressful enough, let alone doing it while around someone who doesn’t understand the reality.

Has anyone else dealt with family who didn’t get it or didn’t support your decision? How did you handle it?
