Anyone found a legal way to save import duty without exporting?

We don’t export, so EPCG wasn’t helpful for us either. For the longest time, everyone we asked just said, “If you don’t export, you pay full duty.”
Honestly, we almost accepted that.

Then someone mentioned GMTAP in a supplier meeting. Not a loophole, just a proper compliance route some manufacturers have started using. Still learning about it, but finally feels like an option for companies that only sell in India.
