My thoughts for future seasons

Major SPOILERS ahead for the books

So I’ve been thinking how could they continue on the series a nd I had a bit of a brain wave last night, what if they did tough guy and Troy Barrett at the same time? Ok- hear me out

Season 2 Episode 1 - 3 cover all of tough guy here but with a bit of a focus on Troy / Kent. We could also have

Flashback of Ilya and Ryan on a plane and Ryan nervous (IYKYK)

Shane coming out to his teammates

Hayden finding out / the dinner Ilya signing to Ottawa

Announcing of the camps / setting up the camps / general sneaking around and sex

Episode 4 - SURPRISE Troy is GAY, we now get a Scott Hunter style stand alone episode of Troy and Adian dating, along with Kent and Troy being bullies, cameos from Ilya playing against them etc and it ends with Troy dumped by Adian and he’s sad, he starts to notice how bad Kent is, maybe some dodgy dealings with drunk women etc

Episode 5-6 start of the long game, camps, Ryan once again walking in on them, jealous ilya, they go to Fabian’s show, ‘get married’ but we now see seeds of ilyas depression. Shane is winning Stanley cups and Ilyas team can’t even win a game! Shane is meeting with Rose and Ilya has no one to talk to! Halloween party!

Season ends with ilya depressed and Tory fucks off Kent, traded to Ottawa and now he’s sad and alone, ends on a big giant bummer for everyone but Ryan!

Now here is the big big big hear me out, common goal actually takes place after tough guy… so this brings me to

Season 3 Episode 1- common goal and the wrapping up of Shane and Kips story- this allows us to cover Eric’s story (I really don’t think he needs more than one episode and we get to see Kip and Scott’s HEA)

And now that’s out of the way…

Episode 2-6 Role model and the Long game told side by side and the stand alone episode is all ready of the way as it was in the first one

Season 4

Episode 1-6 Lucas’s story and whatever Rachel was planning to wrap up the books!

I had to play around with the timeline a bit here but we know the show likes to jump around with the timelines anyway. Troy and his ex break up sooner than they do in the books but I don’t think I messed it up too much
