I did something about my classmates failed grade before they even did.
So around 2 years ago it was end of the quarter and our teacher was showing us our grade early. Some students were a bit upset because they suspected that our teacher had favorites. I was chill until I found out a dear friend of mine got a failed grade of 72 something (u need higher than 75 in my country). They were so sad that they just went home, light crying and I really felt bad for them bc I knew they didn't deserve it.
I went to our teacher(in tears actually lol) and asked about their grade. They apparently didn't have records of doing the group project. I gathered up their group of friends and some girls from our twin section just randomly wanted to help. I literally formed my own team by doing nothing bruh. We went to my classmate's house and we're shocked to find that their door was unlocked and the fan and stuff was still on. We caught a glimpse of the swaying bathroom door and one of the girls literally theorized that they were going suicide 😭. So we had to peek through the bathroom window to ensure that the whole house was.... Empty. A student nearby told us that they apparently went back to school... I literally yelled for everyone to get back to school as fast as possible. As we were spreading all possible paths, I finally realized that I apparently had their phone with me all this time and it made me panic even more. We all met back at school and continued to search. We finally found them talking with our teacher and I was coincidentally with their groupmate for the project and I told them to settle things out.
I headed to my room absolutely exhausted and I reunited with the rest of the team and the girls who were left behind cause they had to return two heavy Tinikling poles (that they were carrying around throughout the whole thing). Everything was cleared out and settled, grades were fixed and a week or so later my classmate messaged me talking about what I did. They were very grateful and felt a bit embarrassed at how we all went through all of the just for them. I'm glad I was able to help them and now years later, this is still one of my favorite school stories.
