What’s the difference between hemp and cotton trawling nets?

I’ve held off on most sailing combat in hopes that there will be some future improvements, but I have been farming ray barbs for the better trawling nets.

Question is, is cotton actually better than hemp? They both can reach the same depth, but one would expect cotton to have a better catch rate or something, right? The only thing I’ve seen is that cotton can hold more fish, but emptying it into the cargo hold really isn’t a significant concern, IMO.
