Swede considering moving to Cyprus, bad idea?

Question

Hi! I am a social 32 year old woman from Sweden. I have come to the conclusion that I dont enjoy living here and that I should have left years ago. The climate in especially Stockholm is simply... Stressfull and unsocial. I go to work and come home and simply hate it here, the everyday life is just unfulfilling when you are pretty much locked inside 70% of the year due to the cold and dark climate (both weatherwise and socially).

I have worked with sales and marketing, I'm good with English (yeah yeah like most people), I love solving problems and when I enjoy my work I am a force to be reckoned with! I would love to work with something that brings meaning to people's lives, like tourism-related work. Or something social. I could totally see myself working with real estate or running a tour-business for example.

I am fine with lowering my living standards, I even look forward to living in shared accomodations to connect with locals! A dream would simply be to be able to bike to work, get home and cook with my flatmates, play some board games, go for a walk and play football. I'm not looking for a crazy luxurious lifestyle, just everyday happiness.

i have looked at different places and Cyprus seem to check several boxes. I am aware you don't have the best employment rates when looking online but I'd like to ask you who actually live in Cyprus how the situation really is. I am in the early trenches of research and simply want to get an idea if I should enthusiastically pursue the idea of moving and becoming a part of your society :)

Please feel free to ask me questions :)
