Best Work Laptop

Any recommendations for laptops? I became an appraiser a few months ago, and have a MacBook which I use parallels to access windows and it slows down too often. I love MacBook but need to switch to have access to Windows so let me know what any good recommendations are please. I prefer to be under $1000.
