Have a challenging class where 3 8th grade boys keep calling me Mr. Kirk in what they think is just out of earshot. This seems to me to be some kind of Charlie Kirk reference. When I've asked them to clarify what they said, they've denied saying anything. I've never heard any other kid say something like this. Anyone else seen this pop up in your school? Is this some kind of veiled threat (aka you're going to end up like Charlie Kirk)? Is this some new trend I've not yet seen? A bit baffled by this.
