Angel Tamagotchi suddenly reset after 4 days

Was devastated when I checked my newly adult 2024 Angel Tamagotchi after about an hour and saw that the UFO start screen had returned and my Tama was nowhere to be found! Should this be considered a death or a sudden reset? The Tamagotchi wasn’t elderly nor in bad health so not sure what caused this to happen. Hoping to avoid another sudden death/departure!
