K2 plus and super glue

So… somehow super glue decided to audition for a new life on my printer’s belt. It wasn’t fully dry when I caught it, so I wiped off as much as humanly possible and let it soak in ISO overnight. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure some glue made its way into the print head assembly.

What should I expect to replace once I’m done cleaning up this sticky disaster? I’m assuming a new belt is in my future.

For context: the Z-axis plastic cap at the top of the lead screw snapped, so I pulled it off to glue it back together while I printed a replacement. Meanwhile, my toddler started talking to me, and because apparently multitasking is not my superpower I grabbed the super glue instead of the lubricant sitting right next to it. I then proceeded to professionally coat the guide rails and belt with glue. As soon as my brain rebooted, I began emergency cleanup.

Lesson learned: being a parent and a printer mechanic simultaneously is a hazardous combination.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
