Guanfacine dosage

My 8 year old is currently on 18 mg of Concerta, and we layered 1mg of Guanfacine in to help with wear off anxiety and emotionality. It has been such a game changer. She’s been on it for two months now, and we’ve gone from 3-5 screaming hysterical tantrums a week to literally zero. It feels like a miracle.

I’m curious though - for those of you with kiddos on guanfacine, what dosage are you at? I’ve noticed the last week of so the anxiety and emotionality creeping back in, and it made me wonder if folks typically increase after the starting dose.
