Ok so this is pretty much what I believe Yujis head is at, he is grappling with his dual nature as a curse and Human, and the fact that Choso left him an ideal tha Yuji would want to continue.

This ideal being to create a world where Choso’s brothers could live in peace, ideally alongside humanity. Yuji might have started talking to his other six brothers as they further integrated themselves into Yujis body. Yuji wants to save the curses and wants to create a world where they can coexist with humanity.

Choso was introduced as Yuji’s brother at a critical moment during Yuji’s development as a a character, the disaster curse arc was coming to a close and he had adopted a cog mentality of killing cursed spirits without questioning it. This is where Choso comes in and throws a huge wrench into that mindset, Yuji’s “cog mentality” goes against Choso’s will and Choso sacrificed himself for Yuji and asked him to carry on his will.

Lastly the current events in the manga are an excellent opportunity for Yuji to force a change onto jujutsu society by shockingly, taking Dabura’s and the Rumelians side (mostly) and having a criminal code and established rights for cursed spirits to abide by, if they break this code they are exorcised. I’m not saying Yuji is gonna start a fight with Yuka or anything.

Moreso that Yuji will use his domain to interrupt the duel to unironically go fishing with Dabura and talk about flowers. Yuji being able to sense the souls of individuals would recognize Dabura as a reincarnation of Sukuna.

Yuji will inherit Choso’s ideals, rejecting the conflict between curses and humans.
