What do you think home video and streaming would look like in a post capitalist America?

I adore animation more than any other art in the whole world, even though I'm not qualified to be an animator. (ironic) But I even I have to admit that it's at the mercy of corporate studios. And even when a animated movie, short, or tv show turns out good, it ultimately exists only to make money. But even with their corporate makers gone or reverted back to the smaller studios they started as, I still want access to them. And this applies to people who prefer live action over animation. In other words, movies and tv shows must be preserved in a post capitalist world.

Streaming services have kept movies and tv shows from becoming lost, but their capitalist policies are driving people away and are making physical copies big business again... sometimes even illegally. So, do you think there should be a new type of phsyical copy? Or should there be a new streaming service that requires little or no payment? Or at least payment that doesn't bankrupt you and fill the pockets of the rich. Or is there a way for both to be useful?

Sadly, I'm no financial expert... which is why I ask anti-captialist people smarter then me, these very questions.
