Rejection Inevitable? Right?

As I understand it, applicants who have failed any prior Fed poly are getting rejected at some point. It may take some time, but it ultimately happens.

I’ve got my TSL and the call from my second choice SAC. I was super stoked, until I learned about the above only recently.

However, I failed a Border Patrol Agent poly earlier this year, and another two years before the most recent. Both for nonsensical reasons no less.

I’m feeling like accepting the offer is just going to be a complete tease and waste of time and energy, knowing getting pulled is inevitable.

Asked the SA who called me for their experience: he did confirm that he knew of several instances of folks getting pulled from FLETC once the suitability team catches up and notices a failed Fed poly. Was encouraged to accept nonetheless, but I’m feeling like it’s meritless.

Would hate being another one of those people that needs to go back to their prior employers and beg for a job back.

It’s going to pain me, but I think based on the risk I’ll have to Decline the TJO.
