Can 1 person have 2 separate credit cards from the same providor?

Hello everyone,

My wife and I have been doing the whole separate credit cards, separate bank accounts e transferring money back and forth thing for a couple years but with a baby on the way we want to open a joint account (already done) and joint credit card.

I get that it's easy enough to add my with as an authorized user on my credit card but here's the catch:

She already has a PC World Elite MC that she would like to keep and continue to use for her own personal expenses. I have the Rogers WE MC that's I would like to keep and continue to use for my own personal expenses. What I would like to do is sign up for PC WE MC for myself and add her as an authorized user to use as the shared CC but I'm not sure if having her name attached to 2 separate identical cars would cause an issue?

Just checking here first to see if anyone has some first hand experience with this before I jump through the hoops to set up a new card and learn that my plan won't work I would call customer support to ask but customer service isn't necessarily what it used to be.
