Australian friend visiting - vegemite on a carryon?

Hi! I have an Australian friend visiting, and thought it would be cute to get them a small 220g jar of vegemite to remind them of home. Does anyone have any insight on if this would be confiscated when going through security? The jar is glass, 12.8 ounces (~380ml), but I'm unsure if it's classified as a liquid or not and if the 3-1-1 rule applies. Thanks in advance for any help!
