Did I make a mistake?

I purchased the bape sta x marvel silver surfer sneakers from eBay; it had the authenticity guarantee and the seller had very good reviews. I’ve never bought sneakers before, and I read a few people on reddit saying on rare occasions, they received fake sneakers from GOAT. Now, I really don’t know much about sneakers, let me say that for sure. But, I’d imagine these can’t be fake since they just recently got released in late September, and I know the silver surfer ones were only released in Japan. My eBay order hasn’t shipped yet, but did I make an okay decision? Am I overthinking?
