How do you capture ideas that hit you while walking or away from your setup?

:discussion: Discussion Topic

Notion has become my main “second brain,” but I still struggle with capturing ideas in the moment - especially when I’m walking or exercising.

That’s usually when my brain suddenly gives me:

- project ideas,

- tasks I forgot,

- things I need to message people about,

- or random insights I want to remember later.

But because I’m not near a keyboard, I end up:

- recording messy voice notes,

- tossing fragments into the Notes app,

- or trying to remember and then losing them.

For those of you who rely on Notion as your external brain:

How do you bridge the gap between “thought in motion” and “organized system”?

Do you:

- use Notion Quick Capture?

- rely on Siri/voice tools?

- sync voice notes later?

- use a separate inbox and then process it into Notion?

Would love to hear the workflows that actually stick for you long-term.
