Backorder MO27Q28G at MSRP and wait, or hold out for a sale/deal on a different panel?

Been eyeing the MO27Q28G for a while now, after seeing it's enormously positive reviews on several platforms I follow and trust.

Most cited an anticipated launch price of 550 USD when it made itself available in the states.

Which it did today - on newegg, for 600...

It's a bit over my ideal budget for a new monitor, but from everything I'm reading and seeing that's still a fantastic price for the product.

Should I bit the bullet and slot in a backorder from newegg now, just to get one whenever it officially launches? Or wait a bit for other retailers/distributors in the hopes of a lower price point?

I'm mostly excited about the KVM switch (I have a work laptop I'd love to just plug in to my home setup) and the matte finish that doesn't go purple in brighter ambient light (my room does get fairly sunny with two large windows on an east-facing corner, and I really don't like the thought of seeing my crystal-clear reflection on a black loading screen on a glossy panel)

Think today's backorder is just the start of their release schedule and likely to see it available on amazon for cheaper?
