How to get Rod o’ Lightning in FTB Stoneblock 4

Hey guys! Quick question here, i can see that i need to use an energized core on a lightning rod during a thunderstorm to get the Rod O’ Lightning from the Iron’s Spells mod, but since i’m under the ground how can i make it if there are no storms (that i know of)?
