Golf simulator space

What is the minimum amount of space needed for a very basic setup? Looking to do in my garage but need it to be a space that can still be utilized for a normal garage.

Looking to use Garmin R10 with pop up net and awesome golf simulator.

Just feel like I never have enough room to comfortably swing a golf club. Haha.
