New job, they want me to see 21 patients a day
Currently working at rural FQHC clinic seeing 15 patients a day on average with an AI scribe as a PA 2 years out from school. Although these patients are a bit complex and resources are limited, I am able to handle this load well so far.
Moving to an urban FQHC clinic and admin wants me to eventually see at least 21 patients a day, 5 days a week. The clinic is close to two hospitals/ERs and with more resources/specialists.
What tips/tricks do you guys have to manage this patient load successfully without getting burnt out?
Thanks!
