Decky Loader Is Too Brittle

I swear every time I do almost anything with Decky Loader it causes fits with SteamOS. My latest episode is trying to add Decky Recorder because all of my built-in videos freeze after 2 seconds and I thought I'll try DR. Installed it and it errored out. Go to roll back its version (which was a suggested fix) and boom the whole SD is goofed. I'm leaning towards doing a full reset and embracing what the Deck is out of the box. Thoughts?
