Arriving a day(about 5 hours)earlier than visa date

First of all, I'm a korean citizen with a korean passport, which allows me to travel France for some time without a visa.

Due to my flight schedule and issues with my residency, I have to arrive on the first day of January - while my student visa starts on the 2nd. My flight agency has told me that I will be able to board the plane to CDG without any problem.

Will I be deported at the immigrations? Or can I just... enter. I could try to stay at the tax free zone for awile till it hits midnight if that works.
